Human Resource Manager

Our Santa Rosa based non-profit client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee their HR operations. This is an interim role touching on all areas of human resources, including compliance, employee relations and onboarding. Excellent opportunity to support a mission-driven organization! 

• Pay range: $40.00–$50.00/hour

• Location: Santa Rosa, CA

• Duration: Temporary, approximately 4+ months

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (some flexibility)

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily HR operations, manage employee relations

• Process and monitor workers' compensation claims

• Oversee leave of absence process, including eligibility, compliance, tracking, and return-to-work procedures.

• Review payroll for accuracy and compliance

• Maintain and manage employee data within HR systems

• Lead onboarding, offboarding, and orientation for new team members

• Prepare detailed HR reports for leadership
 

Human Resources Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of Human Resource experience
• Experience in employee relations, benefits administration and leave of absence administration

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
