He began his musical studies at seven years old. A multiinstrumentalist\, Alessandro plays 7-string guitar\, tenor guitar\, cavaquinho\, mandolin and flute. His teachers include Carlos Coimbra\, Jair T. de Paula\, S rgio Belluco\, and Jo o Dias Carrasqueira.\n\nAlessandro has recorded over 20 albums and has performed with many of the great Brazilian musicians\, including Yamand Costa\, Carlos Poyares\, Toninho Ferragutti\, Oswaldinho do Acordeon\, La rcio de Freitas\, Ca to Marcondes\, Arismar do Esp rito Santo\, Maur cio Carrilho\, Pedro Amorim\, Joel Nascimento\, Conjunto Epoque de Ouro\, Rog rio Caetano\, Caio Marcio\, Alexandre Ribeiro and Nailor Proveta.
