NorthBay biz magazine (www.northbaybiz.com) is a monthly, business-to-business publication covering Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties. It originally hit the stands in 1975, when it was called Sonoma Business and only covered Sonoma County. Its current owners, Norm and Joni Rosinski and John Dennis, acquired it in 2000 and changed its name to cover an expanded market. The magazine is committed to fresh ideas, supporting the vitality of the region and the overall pursuit of publishing excellence including responsible reporting; in-depth analysis; top-notch, original, local coverage; and a dedication to serving the best business interests of the community. It publishes 16 issues annually (12 monthly and four bonus issues).
This year, NorthBay biz is holding its first BIZ NOW?The Future is Here event, which will take place April 19 at the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, KaiserAir Hangar, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. The magazine has partnered with top-notch local talent?business strategists and successful entrepreneurs?for a full-immersion, multimedia-and-live experience featuring inspiring, practical and creative strategies that can make a profound difference to future business. Attendees will learn the ?new rules? of capital development; maximize marketing methods; capitalize on customer service strategies; tame technology; leverage multiple generations; and identify which new laws and regulations will affect their bottom line.
