The Embassy Suites brand was founded in 1984 and is part of the Hilton Worldwide. The Embassy Suites San Rafael opened in 1990 and is the largest full service hotel in Marin County. With engaging team members to assist with your business, family or personal needs, the Embassy Suites can host a variety of events, ranging from local intimate gatherings to large business gatherings, conferences or social galas.

Their high standard of excellence has been acknowledged. The Embassy Suites was awarded the 2022 Gold Metal Meeting /Conference Site by NorthBay Biz Magazine and one of the best places to work in the 2010-2022 survey taken by the North Bay Business Journal. With their focus on making sure their guests have a great experience, the Embassy's talented team collaborates in hosting several key City and Chamber events each year. A couple of these events include the Taste of San Rafael, the City annual premier gala which honors San Rafael's small and large business of the year. Over 300 key business and civic representatives attended the festivities this year. In September, the hotel hosts the Chamber's annual Business Showcase. Over 1,000 business, civic and community representatives attended this interactive business show last year which highlights San Rafael diverse economy.
