San Rafael, CA – Taste Thanksgiving the Gator way—Southern style. Step aside Babette’s Feast. Join in a 5-course Southern Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday November 11th at 7:00 pm. Hosted by Chef Glenn “Gator” Thompson and Charlie Cline from Jacuzzi Winery, this evening should be memorable.
Five courses deliciously prepared by Chef Gator, this exclusive event features tantalizing eats, such as roast pumpkin soup, molasses and bourbon-glazed grits, turducken, grandma’s southern-style stuffing, tomato soup cake with cream cheese frosting, and more. Dinner will include pairings from Jacuzzi Winery, proudly owned by Fred and Nancy Cline. Located in California’s beautiful Sonoma Valley, Jacuzzi Winery has been “dedicated to the art of discovery” for generations and produces a variety of fine Italian wines.
Chef Gator is known for his healthy spin on Southern food. But how is he able to keep all the Southern charm, while cutting the calories? As he puts it: “The flavor is in the ingredients. I changed […] and used healthier oils. The flavors are still the same.”
While your taste buds rejoice in Southern flavors, entertain your ears with musical guest 22 Kings. Organically blending the Folk, Americana, and Indie Rock genres, Sam Bybee and Sandi King have been inspiring one another for the past fifteen years.
