SING OUT `Til Dawn Scholarship Fundraiser
`Til Dawn, Youth In Arts’ award-winning teen a cappella ensemble, is back with its annual SING OUT! concert to raise money for its scholarship fund. The longest running, year-round teen ensemble in the Bay Area has been going strong for 27 years. This is a night not to be missed!
This year, the show is a hybrid event of in-person and online. Hear `Til Dawn in person under the tent Jan. 20 at the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur Landing or join the 90-minute concert virtually. The music begins at 6 p.m. PST.
The concert is headlined by two powerhouse `Til Dawn Alumni performers. Liz Hopkins of famed American folk rock band, Delta Rae, will perform virtually, while soulful singer and Berklee School of Music attendee Celina Ventanilla will sing in-person.
`Til Dawn is an advanced vocal music program that draws its singers from high schools throughout Marin County. The ensemble students aged 14–18, will perform several mixes of rock, pop, blues, jazz and soul standards and contemporary hits at the SING OUT! Several former members have gone onto professional careers in the arts. Selected members of Still Dawn (`Til Dawn alumni) will be streaming in from across the country to perform original songs as well.All event proceeds support the `Til Dawn Scholarship Fund. `Til Dawn is a tuition-based program, but no student is ever turned away because of inability to pay.
