Marin-based filmmaker Liz Canning cycled everywhere until she had twins in 2008. Hauling babies took the adventure out of life, and Canning felt trapped. She Googled “family bike” and uncovered a global movement of people replacing cars with cargo bikes. Setting out to learn more, she chronicled the early inventors, the people making the bold lifestyle changes, as well as her own journey - and the film Motherload was born. Director: Liz Canning (US 2019) 86 min.
