The Marin School of Environmental Leadership (MarinSEL) at Terra Linda High School is a progressive multi-disciplinary project-based school designed to engage students and create community leaders of tomorrow. Through collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity, the MarinSEL program provides each student with the opportunity to develop fundamental skills along with community service, real world and field-based opportunities to help build leadership qualities focused on creating a more sustainable future.

The 2015 MarinSEL Business Leader?s Breakfast will feature two keynote speakers at the forefront of developing and integrating innovative business practices to increase the sustainability of the business landscape and our community, Gordon Feller and Nick Papadopoulos.
Gordon Feller, Director of Urban Innovation at Cisco Systems, has worked for decades on economic and technology issues with large clients including the World Bank, United Nations, the German and Canadian national governments, the Rockefeller Foundation, and more. His work focuses on utilizing advanced technology with a practical application to improve economic, social, and environmental systems. Gordon is the former CEO and a current board member of Urban Age Institute, an international non-profit that promotes leadership and innovation in urban planning. He is also the Co-Founder of Meeting of the Minds, a meeting of key urban sustainability and technology stakeholders to build effective and lasting partnerships.
In June 2014, Gordon was appointed as a Global Fellow of the Commons Lab, organized by the Woodrow Wilson Center?s Science and Technology Innovation Program.
Nick Papadopoulos is a business development expert and Sonoma County farmer helping to realize the potential of businesses and communities to enact meaningful and measurable change. Nick?s diverse background includes experience working with multinational companies and organizations as well as startup and grassroots community organizations to leverage resources and improve sustainable practices. Nick has applied these skills to manage organic farming businesses and recently founded CropMobster, a community exchange helping local communities, farmers, and food producers transform potential food waste into nutritional and economic value.
In June 2014, Nick was appointed as 1 of 120 Delegates selected to advise the first annual United Nations Foundation Global Accelerator on the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in addressing key global issues.
