Light Up the Night
This community event will bring friends, neighbors, classmates and families together from all walks of life
in support of a strong and diverse Marin community.
Individuals, groups, and families with children of all ages are welcome to attend. Battery-operated “candles”
will be provided, or feel free to bring your own.

Timeline:
5:00 – 5:20 – Welcome and gather over light refreshments (hot tea and cocoa) and family art activities
5:20 – 5:40 – Program with comments from the partnering agencies
5:40 – 5:45 – Musical performance to lead off the procession
5:45 – 6:30 - Candlelight procession in downtown San Rafael
6:30 – Those who don’t split off during the walk are welcome to return to the community center for conversation and light refreshments
