Free PSAT or SSAT (High School or Middle School Students) at San Rafael Library
The San Rafael Library in conjunction with C2 Education is offering a free testing event on Saturday, the 26th.
High School Students: Come attempt the PSAT exam, a test given to all sophomores and juniors in high school as a means of learning where you stand academically. For Freshmen, this will give you an idea of what to anticipate going forward, and for Juniors, it will give some idea of how you might do on an upcoming SAT exam. The test begins at 10:00am sharp. Please bring a calculator - everything else can an will be provided for you.
Middle School Students: Take the SSAT (Upper-Level) exam, a test that many private high schools use as a criterion for admissions - it is very similar to tests like the ISEE and HSPT as well. It will give you an idea of where you perform academically and help to prepare for future standardized tests, like the SAT and ACT which are taken in high school. The test begins at 11:45am sharp. You do not need a calculator and everything will be provided for you.
This is an opportunity for students of all ages to take either test and learn more about what their academic future might look like. Seating is limited, however, so if you would like to reserve a space then please call the library at (415) 485-3323.
