Our Winner for the CAMARENA AWARD 2020 is CHIEF MICHAEL “MIKE” DALY, Probation Department, Marin County
Chief Michael “Mike” Daly has had an exemplary career for three decades in creating a balance between public safety, offender accountability, rehabilitative services and restorative practices. He spearheaded the “Wall of Change” Program which recognizes individuals who have made significant positive changes in their lives while being on Probation. In September 2019, Marin County Restorative Justice Program received a $440,000 grant for 3 years because of Mike and his Department’s efforts.
