October is breast cancer awareness month. What better way to for you to bring to mind those who have experienced breast cancer and support ongoing efforts to make a difference than to participate in the Dipsea Hike for Zero Breast Cancer on October 8th at 8 a.m. in Old Mill Park, Mill Valley?
Help reduce the risk of breast cancer in the next generation!
Researchers, doctors and breast cancer survivors know the importance of Rx Exercise in preventing, surviving and recovering from breast cancer!- Do something good for yourself - hike or run a 6-mile trail loop on Mt. Tamalpais - starting and ending with the famous Dipsea steps.
- Do something good for your community - raise funds to support breast cancer risk reduction outreach and education programs in Bay Area High Schools.
Zero Breast Cancer helps individuals and communities understand scientific research on environmental risk factors and lifestyle variables that influence breast cancers. We promote disease prevention through targeted communication of evidence-based recommendations that support health and wellness at key stages of life.
