Community Health Seminar Series - California’s “End of Life Options Act” Defined
You’re Invited…
Please join us for a special event dedicated to exploring California’s “End of Life Options Act.” This law became effective on June 9, 2016 and allows competent, terminally ill patients to request a self–administered prescription drug to end their life. Our experts will provide a detailed explanation of the law and how it applies to patients, physicians, caregivers, and healthcare facilities. A Question & Answer session will follow the presentation.
Featured Speakers
- Matthew Katics, DO, Medical Director of Palliative Care, Marin General Hospital
- Thalia DeWolf, RN, Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse – Practice Manager for Bay Area End of Life Options
