First & Second Year Chamber Members are invited to come and participate in the Chamber’s Inaugural Speed Networking Event. There is no fee to attend this event.
Speed networking is a structured, succinct process designed with the busy professional in mind, to facilitate quick yet focused introductions and conversation between professionals who haven't met yet but are interested in networking. This style of networking evolved from the speed dating model of meeting a large number of people in a short amount of time.
This event will be hosted by Chamber member VenturePad, located at 1020 B Street, San Rafael, CA 94901.
Please register and bring at least 40 business card with you. Registration will be limited to the first 40 registrants.
Prepare a 30 second elevator speech which summarizes key elements of your business. Practice articulating this information in a smooth and to the point manner within the time parameters of the event.
Since speed networking is a two way process, it will be important to listen carefully to each of the "networkers" you meet so that you are able to clearly receive their introduction, and can offer advice and help, as needed.
