Perfect Earth collaborates with professional gardeners and lawn services to educate workers and customers about these hazards and present good\, sustainable alternatives to a beautiful lawn.  Edwina will talk about her "conversion" to toxin-free and the founding of Perfect Earth\; the basics of nature-based maintenance\, design suggestions for keeping it easy and action items for helping to spread the message.\n\nEdwina joins us at MAGC in connection with her participation in "The Root Code: Toward a Green Economy\," which takes place in San Francisco this week\, sponsored by the Kew Foundation America.\n\n \n\nThis presentation at MAGC is co-sponsored by YardSmart Marin\, a county-wide initiative of the Marin Pesticide Reduction Coalition\, in which the Marin Art & Garden Center is a participant.
