DESCRIPTION:After more than a decade of hard work\, visioning and planning\, we are thrilled to celebrate this exciting milestone.\n\n \n\nThe Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus will include 67 affordable senior homes and the new Vivalon Healthy Aging Center. The Healthy Aging Center will include health and wellness\, educational and arts enrichment classes and transportation services for all older adults in our community. It will also be San Rafael's first car-free community. The Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus is expected to open in December 2023.\n\n \n\nThe groundbreaking ceremony and celebration will include the participation of elected officials\, including U.S. Congressman Jared Huffman\, California Assemblymember Marc Levine\, Marin County Supervisor Katie Rice\, San Rafael Mayor Kate Colin\, and San Rafael Councilmember Eli Hill. As well as Vivalon CEO Anne Grey\, former Vivalon CEO Joe O'Hehir\, Eden Housing CEO Linda Mandolini\, and Marin Community Foundation and Marin Housing Authority representatives.\n\n \n\nJoin us as we put golden shovels in the ground to officially mark the construction of Marin's new Hub for Healthy Aging!
