We will have a different guest speaker monthly.\n\n\n\nGuest Speaker- Bette Gundersheim\, YWCA\n\nTopic: Employment Programs and Services for your business\n\nBette has enjoyed living in Marin County for many years as a NYC transplant and has established deep relationships with the business community\, along with countless non-profits\, including the local school districts and school foundations. \n\nBette's long advertising and marketing career and her expertise in developing strong business relationships has enabled YWCA's Workforce Development Program to grow in a variety of new ways since she joined the YWCA50+ program almost 6 years ago.\n\nBette served as PTA President of the Larkspur School and PTA Board Member for many years while raising her two children with her husband in Corte Madera.\n\nPreviously Bette had been Microsoft's Community Development Specialist\, as well\, as ten years as the Guest Services and Business Development Manager for the American Express & Visa Gift Card Programs at The Village of Corte Madera Shopping Center and Northgate Mall\, exceeding all previous gift card sales and nationally recognized by Macerich\, owner of seventy-two luxury shopping centers.\n\nPre-pandemic\, YWCA50+ program provided support to approximately 300\, low-income 50+ women per year\, and one year later on the job\, YWCA clients had over an 80% retention rate.
