DESCRIPTION:Pay data reporting is a new requirement in California this year for larger employers.\n\n\n\nUnder legislation enacted on September 30\, 2020 (SB 973)\, private employers of 100 or more employees   with at least one employee in California   must submit an annual report on their employees' pay\, hours worked\, and demographics to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH). The first filing deadline is March 31st.\n\nCalChamber is teaming up with the DFEH to review specifics of the reporting process and how to comply with this new law.\n\n\n\nThe new law promotes compliance with equal pay and anti-discrimination laws to help ensure California employees are paid fairly based on their skill sets and not discriminated against based on gender\, race or other protected class.\n\n \n\nRegister Here
