DESCRIPTION:General Information:\n\n	\n\n	\n		Produced by Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (Center) and presenting sponsor Union Bank\, the Heart of Marin Awards recognizes outstanding Marin nonprofits and the committed individuals who serve them. Tickets for the awards ceremony and luncheon can now be purchased online or by contacting the Center. Each year\, the awards recognize outstanding achievement in the following categories: \n\n		\n			 \n		\n			Volunteer of the Year\n		\n			Excellence in Board Leadership\n		\n			Excellence in Leadership\n		\n			Achievement in Nonprofit Excellence\n		\n			Excellence in Innovation\n		\n			Corporate Community Service\n		\n			Youth Volunteer of the Year \n		\n\n		Winners in each of the first five categories will be awarded $5\,000 each for their organizations. Additionally\, up to five youth will be presented with $1\,000. Panels convened by the Center will evaluate nominations and select award recipients in the above categories.\n\n\n	\n\n	\n		All nominees and recipients will be honored at the January 9\, 2014 event from 11am-2pm. In addition to presenting sponsor Union Bank\, the Awards are sponsored by Redwood Credit Union (Volunteer of the Year)\, Kaiser Permanente\, San Rafael (Excellence in Board Leadership)\, Marin Community Foundation (Excellence in Leadership)\, Autodesk (Achievement in Nonprofit Excellence)\, Bregante + Company LLP\, CPAs\, and Wells Fargo (Excellence in Innovation)\, Bank of Marin (Youth Volunteer of the Year) and College of Marin (Corporate Community Service).\n\n\n	\n\n	Tickets:\n\n	\n		 \n\n\n	Tickets for the January 9\, 2014 Awards Ceremony and Luncheon are $60 per person for open seating\, or $600 for a reserved table of ten.
